Form a standard SIA in Latvia, remotely

Yes, a standard SIA can be owned by people, by companies, or by a mix. When the owner is another company we have to check who stands behind it. That ownership-chain check adds €100 + VAT for each company in the chain. A small-capital SIA works differently and is limited to individuals.

Our fee includes the base state registration fee. A one-business-day review costs no extra state fee for a company with a single founder. With more than one founder the state charges three times the base fee, and we add the difference to your price at cost (€150 for a standard SIA). We confirm the total in writing before you pay. A standard SIA is the plainest structure and the default choice. It suits you when an owner is a company rather than a person, when you expect more than a handful of owners, or when you would rather not take on the extra rules of a small-capital SIA. Tell us who the owners will be and we will say in writing which one fits.

Identity and compliance checks on the owners and board members, drafting of the founding documents, remote signing with a qualified electronic signature, guidance on the temporary bank account for the share capital, submission to the Register of Enterprises with follow-up if it has questions, and the base state registration fee. Signing, notary and bank fees are paid by you directly.

Yes. A standard SIA can be owned by one person, who can also be its only board member. That is the simplest case and the one our base fee is built around. Each person beyond the first, an owner or a board member and counted once if someone is both, adds €50 + VAT.

Your SIA is registered at a legal address in Latvia. If you do not have one of your own, we provide it as a separate service for €200 + VAT per year, minimum one year. A standard SIA formation plus one year of legal address comes to €500 + VAT. See the legal address page.
