What is charged separately

One-day registration. The Register's standard review period is three business days. A one-business-day review costs no extra state fee for a company with a single founder. With more than one founder the state charges three times the base fee, and we add the difference to your price at cost: €150 for a standard SIA, €40 for a small-capital SIA (Cabinet Regulation No. 664, checked 26 September 2026).
Share capital. The minimum for a standard SIA is €2,800. It is your own money, paid into your company's account, and it is not a fee.
The notary's fee for the power of attorney that document forwarding needs. It is paid by you to the notary.
The signing service. Qualified electronic signatures are provided by third parties, such as Dokobit or your national provider. You pay the provider directly; we do not pay for it or add it to our fee.
Bank fees. Whatever your bank charges for the accounts it opens for you.

What can make it cost more

The base price is for the simple case: one person who is the only owner and the only board member. Every additional person, whether an owner or a board member, adds €50 + VAT, because each person means more checks. Someone who is both an owner and a board member counts once. When an owner is another company we check who stands behind it, and that ownership-chain check adds €100 + VAT for each company in the chain. Questions about the price

How much does it cost to register a company in Latvia?

Our fee is €300 + VAT for a standard or small-capital SIA, and it includes the base state registration fee. A legal address is €200 + VAT per year. Each person beyond the first (an owner or a board member, counted once even if someone is both) adds €50 + VAT, and each company in the ownership chain adds €100 + VAT for the ownership-chain check.

Are there costs on top of your fee?

Only what is listed under "charged separately" on this page: the share capital you pay into your own company account, the state fee for one-day registration when the company has more than one founder, the notary's fee if you choose document forwarding, and the signing service you pay directly. We confirm each amount in writing before we incur it.

Are your prices with VAT?

No. Every price on this site is in euros and excludes VAT, which is added on top. A standard SIA formation at €300 + VAT, for instance, becomes the total on your invoice once VAT is added. We confirm the full amount, VAT included, in writing before you pay.

What does the formation fee cover?

The €300 + VAT fee covers identity and compliance checks, drafting the founding documents, arranging the online signing, guidance on the bank account for the share capital, and submission to the Register of Enterprises with follow-up. It also includes the base state registration fee, so you do not pay that separately.

Does the price depend on how many owners there are?

Yes. Each person beyond the first adds €50 + VAT, whether an owner or a board member, and someone who is both counts once. More people means more identity and compliance work. One owner who is also the only board member is the base case, at the fee shown above.

What if one of the owners is a company?

A company as an owner needs us to check who stands behind it. That ownership-chain check adds €100 + VAT for each company in the chain. Only a standard SIA can have a company as an owner. A small-capital SIA is limited to individuals, so this does not apply there.

What does one-day registration cost?

The state charges the same fee for a single-founder company, so there is no extra cost. With more than one founder it charges three times the base fee, and we add the difference at cost: €150 for a standard SIA and €40 for a small-capital SIA.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer against an invoice, in advance. We send the invoice once we have agreed the scope and the total in writing, so the amount is never a surprise. There is no online card checkout on this site. Our terms set out cancellation, refunds and liability, and you can read them on the terms page.

Is the calculator a final quote?

It is an estimate built from the same prices as this page. It does not invent numbers for cases that need a closer look, and marks those as needing a written quote. Whatever the calculator shows, we confirm the final amount in writing before you pay, so you can compare the two.
